Over the last few months I’ve cleaned out every drawer and closet in my house. For sure I took my own sweet time—like one drawer a week—but who cares? With the entire world upside down, staying home is a safe option. On second thought, cleaning out my garage could be hazardous to my health, considering it’s filled with everything but cars. So, after a short tour of the place and being super impressed with the amount and variety of stuff my family has collected over the years, I’ve decided to declare it a southern living history museum and charge admission. The entry fee is take at least two items with you on the way out the back door. Sounds like the perfect day trip to me. I’ll even throw in a glass of sweet iced tea for the ride home. What do you think—great idea or just dreaming?
