The Beauty of Spring

Spring decorates where I live with blooms galore. Daffodils, forsythia, redbuds, dogwoods, and many more trees and plants cover the area with color . . . and pollen. Hard to believe every flower and leaf unfolds and releases a puff of pollen into the air. Not hard to believe a good amount of it goes up my nose, down my throat, and in my eyes. To say I sneeze and cough my way through April is being polite. Red eyes and a runny nose look good on no one. Oh well, May is just around the corner. Until that time I’ll continue to sneeze, cough, and admire the beauty of creation. “Then God said, ‘Let plants grow from the earth, plants that have seeds. Let fruit trees grow on the earth that bring their kind of fruit with their own seeds.’ And it was so . . . And God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:11-12.
