If spring showers bring May flowers, we’ll have plenty of blooms where I live. Lots of rain and storms recently. Some of them severe and nothing to sing about. But I love spring, and the next few months in my area are a nature photographer’s dream. Redbuds, daffodils, dogwoods, tulips, azaleas, irises, and rhododendron galore. Cultivated varieties in the valleys and wild ones in the mountains, except for the tulips and daffodils. Although if you spot a patch of daffodils while hiking in the Smokies, you’ve found all that remains of someone’s home from almost a hundred years ago.
Happy Spring! Wishing you a few showers and many flowers. What’s your favorite part of the season?
