When I went to school, we loved national celebrations because they meant no classes. But nowadays, we have a national day for everything—hot dogs, siblings, teachers, shoelaces, haircuts, you get the picture. They’re so common most of us ignore them. Except for today. Do you know this Southern-Fried Friday is National Donut Day? Yippee, finally something worth celebrating. Oh, admit it, you love them. A whole lot of people do based on the number of donut shops springing up everywhere.
So let’s say you are absolutely starving and the only business open is a donut shop. What type of donut would you eat first?
