Lots of folks enjoyed houseguests over the holidays. But what if you had the same visitor continuously and he always left a mess? Now you know my predicament with this little fellow. His favorite place to sit is on my wicker porch furniture, as if none of the surrounding trees are suitable. And he brings his own food, which he quickly cracks open and devours, leaving empty shell fragments on every seat cushion. After he’s littered all the cushions, he moves to my front steps and repeats his messy eating habits on each of them until I sweep everything clean and ready for his next visit. Good thing I like animals.
