Good news, our porch bird babies flew the nest the other day—all four of them. Yes, we discovered a fourth fuzzball as they grew feathers. One morning they lined up on the nest as if posing for a picture, and we took the shot. Several hours later everyone was gone. Yippee for graduation day. The entire family moved to the surrounding trees, and their singing is now a delight. No more bombing runs over my wicker furniture.
Graduation at any level is a great accomplishment, and I salute each graduate this year. Your pictures posted on Facebook are encouraging during these challenging times. Each one brings to mind Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
If you have a graduate this year, give him or her a shout out here.
