Cold weather paid me a visit this week, and I wasn’t ready for it. My body rebels against eighty degrees one day and freezing the following night. Moderate day and cool night temperatures suit me better. To add insult to frigid injury, my state observes the twice a year time change, so my internal clock will be rattled on Sunday. What’s a gal to do—wear flip flops during the day, a down parka at night, and be an hour early for church on Sunday? No, I’ll need the extra hour of sleep to recover from changing all the clocks and thermostats in my house. What are your preferences: Warm or cold temperatures, standard or daylight time?
Congratulations to CM for winning this quarter’s book giveaway, a copy of Guideposts’ Walking in Grace 2024 containing several of my devotions.
