Although I enjoy the great outdoors, outdoor painting ranks about equal with a toothache, meaning I prefer to skip both pains. However, the wood lattice surrounding the bottom of my porch refused to stop shouting “paint me” every time I walked outside. With rain and cooler weather forecasted for next week, I finally gave in and painted the panels. After this summer’s drought, about the only items still green in my yard are the lattice, my gloves, and shoes. I guess you could say I’m one of those people who never learned to color within the lines.
For all of you who enjoy painting, how do you avoid the drips, spills, and splatters?
