A Corn-filled Summer

With southern gardens producing vegetables and fruits galore this summer, Peaches and Cream corn rates as one of my favorites, along with tomatoes and okra. If you never tasted this bicolor variety, find some freshly picked ears and try them. Every bite of the fat and juicy yellow and white kernels rewards you with double the flavor. Boiled on the cob, drenched in butter, and sprinkled with salt elevates the sweetness to rockstar status. Add a quartered tomato, scoop of fried okra, and cucumber slices to your plate and delight your tastebuds this month.

What’s your favorite way to eat corn?
